As we are starting our coaching relationship, you will fill out several forms that have questions designed to elicit INSIGHTS. You will learn the significance of insights as we work together.
These forms serve at least three purposes:
- They capture a baseline for where you start. Humans have a funny tendency. Some 'problem' may be bothering us everyday - for years - and once it is gone we forget about it and our mind focuses on the next 'problem' to solve, skipping the step of logging the progress. Therefore we tend to underestimate our growth and lose faith in the value of our efforts.
- The exercise of answering the questions in the forms allows you to take a deeper look at your life, and the simple act of noticing for yourself creates some healing and letting go of what is holding you back.
- These questions are also designed to reveal themes, and a roadmap for our coaching appears to me as I get to know you better from what you share.
